Oregon State University is committed to offering a physically, psychologically and emotionally safe environment for all youth. To fulfill this mission, the Office of Youth Safety & Compliance oversees a Protection of Minors policy and associated activity guidelines, including training, behavior standards and reporting requirements for employees and volunteers who engage directly with minors.

Policy

OSU employees and volunteers who interact with individuals younger than 18 must adhere to the Protection of Minors Policy and the associated Policy Resource Guide. This guide outlines operating standards and recommended practices to help keep youth, employees and volunteers safe. Resources are updated regularly, so check back often.
