Consultations

The office is available as a resource for all university units to receive consultation or support for event planning or policy implications for activities involving minors (under age 18) at OSU.

Staff

Misha Lind - she/her/hers

Misha began working at OSU as Youth Safety Program Coordinator in July 2023.  She grew up in the Corvallis area, participating in programs like 4-H, and earned her Bachelor’s degree from OSU in 2014. She has coordinated youth programs at several organizations around the Willamette Valley including summer camps, Boys & Girls Club, and Parks & Recreation. She and her husband like to spend time at different parks around Corvallis, the Oregon Zoo, and the coast with their kids.

Eric Cardella - he/him/his

Eric joined OSU as Director of Youth Safety & Compliance in December 2018. He previously served as chief operations officer for the Boys & Girls Club of Salem, Marion and Polk counties. Eric has also coordinated state-wide service learning and civic engagement initiatives at The University of Montana through Montana Campus Compact. As a two-term AmeriCorps alum, he supported K-12 literacy and conflict resolution initiatives in rural North Carolina, and helped out-of-school youth earn their high school equivalency and gain job skills in Eastern Washington.
